Roiben...Who He is

Roiben....Hmm....Well, first let me ask you something, Do you believe in magic (Pixies, faeries, etc.)? If not then what the hell are you doing on this page!!?? If so Good!!!
He does and I am glad because I do as well. I have always been able to see them but only briefly out of the corner of my eye. Well, I forgot to mention this but when I transform I can always see them. In fact I know them quite well. There are two types of Magic kingdoms: the "Royal Court" and the "Rebel Court" The Royal Court is usually just called the Court and the Rebel Court referred to as the Rebels etc.
Anyway on to Roiben. I did not know this but he is part of the Rebel Court! If you're thinking "What???" don't worry I was too! I suppose for this to make sense I should start at the beginning: How we met.
I was wandering about the hills looking for food. I hadn't eaten anything that day and was starvin' but I couldn't find anything and was utterly ravenous. I realized I would have to resort to stealing farmers sheep. I was prowling round the side of the fence and had killed a sheep. I ate a little and then dragged the remains to the forest, to avoid getting caught. I was in the forest, eating, but feeling guilty.
"That's funny I thought I could sense human" a voice said I turned round to see a young boy standing there. He can't have been more than 15 or 16. "But it's just a wolf."
I wondered why he wasn't afraid and thought a wild wolf would probably run. But I didn't, something about this boy caught my interest.
"Oh I get it!" he said suddenly "You're not just a wolf are you? Where are you from, Rebel or Royal?" He asked
I looked at him then said "My name is Tala" I went with my wolf name. He looked at me as if to say And? I sighed and said "I'm Tala you're...?"
"Roiben, If you must know" He smiled "Since you didn't answer my first question I'll assume you're neither." He sat down and lit a small fire. "Can I have some?" he asked.
"Why should I?" I replied.
"It's my family's sheep" He grinned "See"
"Alright" I agreed grudgingly "How did you know i was not a normal wolf?"
"You could say instinct I suppose" he grinned "And you smell like a human"
Anywayz...It took me ages before I would trust him but one day he saved my life.
We were in the Forest again. I still didn't trust him but he did make a good hunting partner. He went off to go to the toilet and I wandered off. I heard a twig snap and whirled round.I heard a bang. The next thing I was lying on the ground with Roiben on top of me saying "What are you doing? Run!"
I wondered what was going on when Roiben's "Dad" appeared from behind the cover of bushes.
"Sh-" I was interrupted by another gunshot, which missed because Roiben ran in to him and knocked him over.
"RUN!" He screamed. I ran! Roiben took off his human disguise, touched his three middle fingers to the man's forehead and then pelted after me.

When we were safe in a small alcove at the edge of the wood I asked "What did you do to him?"
"I erased his memory" He said indifferently "He will wake up tomorrow. He won't remember me at all. I'll go back for my Mu- His wife"
"Will you miss them?" I wondered
"Maybe. Not too much though...I've had to do that for 3 other families"
"So where will you go now?" I asked (I was a little worried about him)
"Well, I don't know. I can live in the forest, I guess. I will have to steal stuff though 'cause I can't hunt on my own."
"I'll teach you how!" I exclaimed!
So I taught him how to hunt -on his own- and after a few months(I could only train him one night a month after all) He was a good hunter.
Roiben had saved my life. I'll never let him forget that. One day I will repay him.

So that's Roiben I guess! Sorry this post has taken so long!! I hope the length of it will make up for that!

My Wolf Night!! ( 30/11/09 )

Okay...as I said in my last post there would be a "Wolf Night" in a couple of days! well it was the day before Halloween!! It was great. I spent it alone this time. Raven was keeper of the secret this month. My parents were under the impression that I was staying at her house. Her parents thought I was staying at Tiger's. And Tigers parents thought I was at my own house!
So anyway...I spent the night about 4 miles away from my home. there are a few farms about but it is mostly empty. I tied my clothes on a belt and tied it to my left lank. There are many wild animals, Sheep, Deer etc. Now I will tell you a secret. There is a boy. A boy who knows my secret. His name is Roiben. He is human. But he's special. He lives on one of the farms. On some wolf nights, I go round and get him and he rides on my back I take him to a nearby forest. I taught him to run through the forest silently. I taught him to hunt. I like him. He will always keep my secret. Then again, he doesn't know my human Identity. He thinks my name is just Tala. He always asks me to stay so he can see my human form. but i tell him no. A werewolf transforming is something personal. no one should ever see it. "come back to me as a human then" he said
"Maybe" I replied.
Then he said "look what I made"
He had made bow and arrows. "Let me hunt for you?"
I didn't want to but is agreed. He wouldn't mange anyway. I lay under a tree and about an hour later, woke to the sound of dragging and grunting. He had killed a wild sheep! "Thank you" I said and ate it. He made a fire and cooked his bit.
He has a secret too but He won't tell me and I don't ask. He talks non-stop about pixies, magic, and shape shifters. Shape shifters like me.
Then it was morning. I sensed it coming. I sensed it coming. i whispered "until next month" then ran.
When I changed back i dressed then ran to Ravens house to play the "waking up and being picked up" scene.
Over all a good night I think.

My Best Friend's A Vampire

I have many friends..but they're all special (they have to be in order to deal with my weirdness) but this post is about two in particular. For their own saftey I am not giving their real names so we shall just call them "Tiger" and "Raven." So, as I said before, on the day I transformed for the first time they were there. well, they had always been able to smell the wolf off me.
In fact when we first met Tiger said - very loudly- "I have never met a were-wolf at a high school before!!!" I dragged her in to a nearby alley and whispered in her ear:
"and I've never me a Vampire at a high school before. Now would you kindly stop shouting that I'm a werewolf!"
"Oh! is it a secret?" at first I didn't like her but when she said "is it a secret?" I could help laughing. we quickly became friends...we promised to keep each others secrets. I later met Raven and her and Tiger were friends instantly. At first I felt put out but, even though i was a werewolf they neve excluded me. They are the only ones who know my secret.
Anyway, on with the story. When I transformed they knew immediatly. Raven had been in the process of leeapin over stepping stones and fell in the burn when she happened to breath in through her nose. She ran to the barn and grabbed Tiger's hand mumbling excuses about seeing an interesting plant. They ran up the hill calling "Ookami?" what they found was a large gray wolf try to set up a tent. As it turns out they had been anticipating the change or weeks. they hadn't said anything to me because they didn't want to scare me. They went hunting for me. Thank god for scottish wild sheep eh?
So I can become a wolf on any night I choose. But on fuul moon or "wolf nights" I don't have a choice. I always make sure I'm either with them or far from everyone on those nights.
well, that's all for today. Oh it's a Wolf Night in two days. I'll be sure to tell you details!

Let's start over...

Okay...I'm going to start again because this blog is changing from "the life of a teenage were-wolf" to "the life of a boring teenager with a boring life" so let's start again!
this time with much more in formation on my werewolf self.
Okay..let's start when I first phased....
It was my 12th birthday..presents...balloons...noise...so I escaped! I ran to what I called my "territory." It was a large wilderness area that I often play as a wolf. I pretened i had a pack or that i was a lone wolf. It depended what mood I was in. so anyway I was there and I saw a 10 year old boy come into my territory. I do not own the area but for some reason I always felt territorial about. Not many humans go there but once while someone strays in. Usually the wierdo cross-dresser who keeps howling (i.e me) is enough to keep them away. but not always. i don't mind so much if they keep the area tidy. But he dropped litter. Usually i just get a bit miffed but i totally snapped! next thing i know I'm this slightly larger than usual Gray Wolf. But I wasn't afraid. Why? Because i's known it was coming. unconionsly i've always known i would phase someday. but until i actually phased i didn't realize it. so. yeah. Luckily i was supposed to be camping up where I was after my birthday. so they all assumed that I had just pitched early. I had to play on what they thought. Do you know how difficult it is to set up a tent as a wolf? Very! Extremly! Impossible! Luckily my Vampire mates(yes my best friends are vampires) could smell wolf stronger than ever! they'd always been able to smell wolf off me but just then they istantly knew what had happened. they came to find me. they pitched the tent. we stayed for the weekend. I could change back after that.

Hey I was in a very difficult position a few weeks ago...

I was sitting at my normal lunch-table with just John and Neal (fake names) and john stole Neal's card -as a joke tho- this enraged John and he...he just leapt at john and by doing that
his hand hit my back. Right where I had the most painful sunburn I couldn't move my arms right because of it. And his hand hit it. I jumped up and started snarling and growling. It took all my strenghth to stop from morphing!!! I ran off and climbed a hill and hid there until I could stop snarling!

Again sorry!

I know I haven't been writing much I've been really busy. sorry. anyway so I am now single again and have noticed that I have not really said much about what I look like in wolf form... Well I have been scanning the Net looking for a picture of a wolf that looks closest to what I look like I will add it in as an attachment Kinda-thing ok! The one I have chosen is not very acurate but it's as close as I can get. Basically I am the size of a large Gray wolf but have the colours and markings of a red wolf!

so... Emm..... I have nothing much else to say really except that I found this awsome song called "Stray" by Steve Conte
